Fun With Friends, my second recording of supremely singalicious songs for children, is full of zesty grooves, scrumptious vocals, flavourful harmonies and engaging lyrics.

Fun With Friends was recorded in Oct. 2011 and produced, engineered and mixed by Andre Wahl who has worked with many great acts including metal bands Mudvayne and Spineshank.

And no, this is not a heavy metal kids disc but the idea is intriguing! Hmmm...

We recorded in an 85 year old, one room school house near Huntsville, Ontario. We set up our gear, then laughed and played for 2 weeks. The days were long and sometimes tiring but everyday had magical moments. It was a wonderful, fun collaboration. Andre was brilliant at keeping me focused on what the songs needed and keep me from getting too clever for my own good - I do that once in a while! : )

I had a wonderful time singing on Fun With Friends: With a few exceptions I did all the singing.. lead parts, high backgrounds, low backgrounds, 'trumpets'. I even sang some 'drums' and 'guitar' sounds on the song Teddy Bear Band. I did have a bit of wonderful help from my dear friend Rose Reiter on Toast and some kids voices on Got To Rhyme and Please, I Know I've Got To Say Please.
